I really need...

to go to the grocery store.

I have not been grocery shopping, like really honest to goodness grocery shopping in over a month. By the time I get home from my second job, all I want to do is put my feet up.

Currently this blog post is stopping me from going to the store, but I thought this was funny and I don't feel it can wait.

I just read Linze's (The Merls new au pair) blog and she always has a "song of the day" (which I love!) and at the end of her post she had a song by Justin Beiber. My roommates listened to the song while I was reading the blog and the following comments were made:

Me: Why didn't I know that this song was done with Usher?
Meg and Megan: We thought you knew
Me: Why is he singing about needing somebody to love? He's like 17. He doesn't need somebody to love... he needs to do his homework!
*rolling laughter due to my hilariousness
Megan (after seeing a picture of Justin): He's not black?!
* more laughter
Me: He's Canadian! (not that Canadians can't be black. It was just the first thing that happened to leap from my lips)

It made me laugh. You may not care, but that doesn't matter. I pretty much have the most awesome roommates on the face of the earth.

Now, I will make another attempt to grocery shop. If I don't make it, my zucchini plant has been working overtime, so don't worry I'm not going to starve.
