Firsts

They say there is a first time for everything.


I have had a lot of firsts here i.e.

• First time in Europe
• First time really feeling trunky
• First time riding a bike in snow
• First time paragliding
• First time riding in an ambulance
• First time singing children to sleep at night
• First time I started HATING magic school bus books

I think you get the idea. I have had so many firsts here that "first" is starting not to seem like a real word. This week we had another monumentous first.  This was Phin's first week in Kindergarten... and Nico's first day back. It was the first time I realized that I am going to be one freak of a mother as I ran downstairs with my camera to document the first day. After I took the first picture I felt a little silly, but his first day was important to me. I am so proud.

 My kids are going to hate me... I am sure I will be hearing "Mom, put the camera away and let us go" a lot.(I think it runs in the family... I remember my first date... everyone in the family had some sort of camera. It was embarrassing) but as you can see. These boys had a great time posing for this fabulous first!
