Phineas is such a little guy. We love him a lot (of course we love Nico too). The boys are so funny sometimes, and I love to hear the great things that they say. One thing that Phineas talks about is something I will refer to as "The Evolution of Cool".
More toward the beginning of the year Phin would do something and then say "Hey, was that cool?" and then repeat the action if he could. I always found that humorous. He then moved on... obviously having a definite opinion on what was cool because he started to say "That was cool". Well for the first time on our vacation in Austria he was getting into the lake by climbing down a ladder to his cousin. He slipped and fell in. When his cousin pulled him out I thought for sure he would start to cry, but he just said (in german) "That was not cool." I had to laugh at that one. He said it again when he crashed his bike recently, and it was great because he just got up and brushed himself off a little and said "Anya, that was not cool"
Speaking of cool and not cool. Just as a side note... I took the boys to the park tonight (since I now will be working late every night) and the majority of the parents there were dads. Lots of Fathers taking their kids to the park. I personally thought "That was cool."
